Hi Parents!
As I write this our internet is down. I'm waiting till ACS opens so I can report my problem. When I called yesterday evening the recording told me to look up their web site to report a problem with my internet connection...DAH! I am hoping to remember to save this in drafts and send it at a later time. Praise God that my connection with Him never breaks and He is never off duty. Oh, my connection may be a bit static-filled because of my sin, but it will never be His fault and He will always hear when I call out to Him. Our lesson this week focuses on Jesus being our friend. It troubles me to think of Him as my buddy, He is King, He is God, He is my Savior! At the same time I know He would love to walk with me in my neighbor's field. He would love to sit across the table and help me study and prepare for our lesson. I love the verse in the song As The Deer, "You're my Friend and You are my bother even though You are a king." Our story is about the first men to follow Jesus; Andrew, John (most likely), and Peter. How quick Andrew realized who Jesus was! Please read John 1:35-42 as a family and begin talking about this. I like verse 36. John (the Baptist) knew his responsibility. He kept pointing people to Jesus, even his own followers, so they would follow Jesus. I pray you have a wonderful week. It is so good to see single digit temps again. Don't forget the attached activities! Blessings! Chuck Comments are closed.
