Hi Parents!

Sometimes we under estimate what our kids can do. Children are some of the best witnesses God has on earth. They are unafraid to tell a friend about Jesus or about the great time they had in church.
If the shepherds could tell everyone about the baby Jesus, and the Samaritan Woman could tell the village about Jesus, so can kids (and you). They had no training and though they may have been familiar with some of the Old Testament Scriptures, they knew very little about Jesus and nothing about what He would accomplish on the cross. They (we) just need to point the way.

Our Believe chapter this week (#19) is about giving our resources to God. A more accurate description would be giving our resources BACK to God. You see, God has given us everything we have. Oh, you might say you worked hard to get something, but remember who gave you a fit body, energy, and the job you have. So what do you have that you can give back? money? a skill? labor?

We've been talking lately about a number of things God would like from us. Remember to focus on FOCUS. Focus on what God wants. Let Him decide how much of your money (or anything else) you should give back. Let Him decide if any percentage should be based on gross pay or net pay. Let Him decide if the majority should go to DBC or a missionary. His Word has plenty of advice about money.

But remember there is one thing God wants more than your money, your time, your talent. HE WANTS YOUR HEART.
