Dear Fantastic Parents,
Sunday is our last children's church before Christmas. We will have families worshiping together on December 22. This is such a wonderful time of year for me, but there are many stressors and concerns as well. Why can't there be world-wide peace so we can all just enjoy family? Why do we torture ourselves with so many things we HAVE to do or get done before the holiday? But it's just like God to use all these things to give us our wonderful memories of times with family, of times He came through to help us with things we could not handle or do on our own. That's why He sent Jesus...we couldn't save ourselves. Our lesson comes from the Christmas story we know best, Luke 2:1-20. As you read this with your family, look for things you haven't noticed before. It seems God is always showing me something different. Of course when you get my age it's easy to forget so something that strikes you as new this year could be the same thing that seemed new last year. Our Bible point this week is 'Jesus was born to be our Savior.' May God bless you all in an amazing way this week! Chuck Comments are closed.
