The word AWANA stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15:

"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

Awana clubs and programs make Scripture memorization fun and are geared to the needs of a range of ages and grades. And Awana works! Countless times we've witnessed the way God has used our club programs to reach boys and girls for Christ.
