AWANA Carnival, Sunday, October 28 and Tuesday, October 30: On the night of the 30th, we will have transformed the downstairs into a carnival with booths set up for a night of fun and games for our clubbers. On Sunday, October 28, after church, we will be setting up for the Hallelujah Carnival. If you would like to join us, please see Ivan/Amie or John/Jen. There are also opportunities to help run a booth Tuesday evening.

Thanksgiving Eve Service: DBC will be hosting the Thanksgiving Service this year on Wednesday, November 21st with our friends from Bethel Church, Community Church and University Park joining us. Please bring a refreshment to share afterwards. We are also looking for a couple of people to volunteer in the nursery. If you are interested in this, please let the secretary know. Plan on coming, inviting neighbors and friends, and thanking the Lord for His manifold blessings.

Chapel Nursery (on-going): There is a nursery sign-up form in the foyer. Please volunteer for a week to help with this ministry. Your help is greatly appreciated and a blessing to the church and to parents with small children.

AWANA Club: In the fall/winter/spring, there will be a need for people to help with the Awana Club. Please see the Awana Page and contact the leaders for more information.

Love, Inc., Fairbanks Rescue Mission, CareNet, Habitat For Humanity, and Fairbanks Foodbank are several community organizations that can use volunteers on an on-going basis.

Love, Inc. - work teams for small carpentry projects and insulation. (Love In the Name of Christ): Love Inc. has resumed work on the new office building on 26th Avenue across from the Food Bank. They have a new building project manager, Ted Johnson, who is coordinating work teams for small carpentry projects and insulation.
